Welcome to my monthly wrap-up post, where I talk about the books I read in a given month. My wrap-up is a little late this month, since the first week of December flew by before I knew it.
In November, I read three books:

The Phoenix Feather by Golam Soulpats
This fantasy novella featured a sweet, Sapphic romance with cozy vibes. The story mostly focused on the history between the leads, Anlei and Cordla, during their school years. It was low-stakes, which was a nice break for me to read.

Unbury the Bones by Coyote J.M. Edwards
This book was a quick read, with an incredibly engaging story following a nonbinary vampire investigating strange magical occurrences. The world was the perfect blend of fantastical and grounded. I loved the depth and creativity shown in terms of creatures and magical elements.

Boneless by Coyote J.M. Edwards
This book followed up the cliff-hanger from Unbury the Bones quite well. It presented the reader and the protagonist, Grim, with a different kind of mystery this time around which was exciting. I also enjoyed the exploration of themes such as trauma and survivors' guilt, without those topics "dragging down" the main story.
On a non-reading front, in November, I featured indie author Skylar Anthony and talked about my progress on my most recent manuscript. I've linked each post, in case they sound like an interesting read. I didn't get as much done last month as I hoped for, but I'm optimistic that December might be a little better.
Until next time!
Magic & Murder in the Holler is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop and most other retailers. I'm also selling signed copies directly on my Ko-Fi shop.
