Where I've Been and What I've Been Up To

It's been about a month and a half since I last provided an update, or at least a serious update, on here. I've been quite busy, both when it comes to writing, and when it comes to my general life. Somehow, November passed a lot faster than I anticipated and we're only a handful of days away from December.

I'm going to split this update into three parts: writing updates, reading updates, and other, miscellaneous stuff.

Writing Updates

Mid-October to now has been quite a busy time for me in terms of writing. I sent my book off to multiple beta readers, and have already gotten back some very helpful feedback from them, which I'm using to make revisions.

I also started looking for a developmental editor and found one I really connected with. (She actually edited a few books I remember reading and enjoying!)

Last, but certainly not least, I've outlined to some degree or another the next two books in the series I'm writing, and started doing some of the necessary research and behind-the-scenes work to get started on Book 2. I have a few other book ideas I'm developing.

My cats are doing well, and have made a "friend" in a neighborhood cat.
