State of the Manuscript - 5/21/2025

Welcome to my monthly update on the state of my project manuscripts. This is where I provide general status updates about my work.

My debut novel, Magic & Murder in the Holler, is back from the proofreader, and I'm reading through it a few times to make sure I don't find any typos that might've been missed. Some might sneak through into the final copy, but fingers crossed that there are only a few, and they're fairly minor. Once that's done, I can start preparing for pre-orders and other fun release-related things.

My cover design is finally ready to be revealed to the world. My newsletter subscribers got to see it earlier this week, and I'm sharing it with everybody on my Instagram and Tiktok in two days!

I've finished my first draft of the sequel to Magic & Murder in the Holler, but I'm letting it sit for the time being. I wanted to give myself some distance from the manuscript for a bit, so I can look at it with fresh eyes.
